Ruby Glass Ring Dish with Seed Head Motif

A delightful ruby pink ring dish made in kiln formed glass with a seed head or cow parsley motif.

Measuring 8.5cm this square dish is perfect for keeping rings or earrings safe.

The design is inspired by the cow parsley on the verges in the lanes around my home in Perthshire and is part of a larger collection of glass using this motif, why not have a look at the others in the Seed Head range

The dish starts as a clear piece of glass which is coloured with clear frit and ruby powder and fired in a kiln, the design is then stencilled in dense white and fired a second time before being slumped into a mould for the third firing. it is then hand embellished with white glass outliner.

It comes to you in a small box with artist card, the perfect small gift for someone special.
